Nick Winstone

Nick is the co-founder and Managing Partner at Aera VC, where he leads the firm’s global investment strategy. With over two decades of experience in venture capital, M&A, and investment banking, Nick has built a remarkable track record focusing on long-term value creation.

Under his leadership, Aera VC has invested in three unicorns from seed stage and achieved top decile returns for Aera I (2017) and Aera II (2022).

Before founding Aera VC, Nick held senior roles in investment banking in London and Auckland identifying and executing high return investments.

Nick holds a B.Com in Accounting and Marketing and a Bachelor of Law with First Class honours from the University of Canterbury.
